
Meg Schneider is an award-winning writer with nearly 20
years of experience in television, radio and print journalism
and public relations. She is the author of “Everything
Casino Gambling Book” (Adams Media, September 2004)
and co-author of “The Birth Order Effect for Couples”
(Fair Winds, 2004) and “Everything Writing a Book
Proposal” (Adams Media, Spring 2005).
Her journalism honors include awards from the Iowa Associated
Press Managing Editors, Women in Communications, the Maryland-Delaware-D.C.
Press Association, Gannett, the New York State Associated
Press, and the William Randolph Hearst Foundation.
An
accomplished public speaker, Schneider has appeared on C-SPAN’s
“Washington Journal” and served as a story consultant
for the CBS news magazine “60 Minutes.” In 1993,
she won the Toastmasters International District 19 Humorous
Speech Contest in her first competitive entry since high
school. She is available for speaking engagements and seminars.
Schneider,
a native of Iowa, lives in Upstate New York with her husband
